Payment Structure
Most contracts require 50% down, prior to starting the work. If special-order materials are needed we require the down-payment for them at the time the contract is signed.
If you are using a home equity loan to finance your project, we are happy to work with your lending institution on a draw system.
Other payment options are also available if needed. Any special payment arrangements need to be established prior to the work starting.
S&R Remodeling Construction Tips:
Always get a WRITTEN contract before your remodeling project begins. Ask your contractor to specify materials, construction labor, final price, work schedules and completion dates. Ask the contractor to include warranties in the contract on any of the construction or remodeling work.
