We use Marling Lumber to draw up your addition plans. Marling will credit you half the money back on your drawing fee if you buy the construction materials from them to complete your addition.  We’ve found Marling to be a fair-priced lumber yard with quality construction materials.

S&R Remodeling understands that the key to an attractive and valuable home addition is blending the new construction with the old.  A cost value report from 2007 lists a two-story addition payback at over 70 percent.  That means you can build your addition and get most of your money back upon sale of the house.  And if you build it right, you could actually make money.

S&R Remodeling Construction Tips:

Always get a WRITTEN contract before your remodeling project begins. Ask your contractor to specify materials, construction labor, final price, work schedules and completion dates. Ask the contractor to include warranties in the contract on any of the construction or remodeling work.

--Make sure to get your remodeling project specifications in writing from your contractor
